Adams Birthday

Ok, so Adam maintains that he doesn't have a birthday, but the date of this event slipped out a couple of years ago. I'm not saying when it is, but we've recently celebrated it. Anyway, I asked him what he wanted to do, but after much avoidance, he finally decided that he wanted Hibachi.

For those who don't know what Hibachi is, its Japanese food that is cooked right in front of you. So its like dinner and a show. Our cook was pretty funny. He obviously hasn't lived here his whole life but his english was pretty good, and he was making jokes. There was a young girl, maybe about 8 at our table and he messed with her quite a bit, I don't think she knew what to think about it. She kept scooting back as to avoid him.

The rice was lacking, but the rest was pretty good. We had some teriyaki steak and some sesame chicken. The whole meal after tax was 60 dollars. So not too bad.

Following... people?

Ok, so Amy told me that I can "follow" peoples blogs and showed me how, by following my blog..... however, I looked on Adams blog and cant find this button to click, and looked on Amys and also can't find the button to click. So if anyone had any better ideas.... please let me know.



Ok, so on to today. I had a fairly uneventful day. Adam was fairly unavailable. Not really unavailable, just not as available as he has been in the past, which is fine... hes got alot on his plate and hes trying to get some stuff done with an organization that he is a part of, as well as pacify his very chatty girlfriend, hes not doing a bad job at all.

So during work someone borrowed money from me and said as soon as her dad got off work he would pay me back (which ended up being true, so thats great), but after work I went over her apartment to wait for her dad to get off work and to hang out for a little bit until church. We parted ways about 5 and then I checked to see what time Adam got off work, he got off at 5:30. Being wednesday (my busiest day) I thought for sure he would call me after he got off work. Well much to my dismay he didn't. I was sad, but again, he has alot on his plate right now so I understood. He didn't call me until almost 9, to which I was only able to talk to him for about 20 minutes and then we had to get off the phone. Oh well. Wednesdays are hard, cause he now has something to do on wednesdays and I am still working on wednesdays. Laura (my sister) also texted me several times trying to talk me into coming over her house tonight after church. Church ended at 9 and its about a 45 minute drive from church to her house.... that wasn't going to happen.


So yeah, that was pretty much my day.

Now I'm home and about to hit the sack. Later gator.

Ok, so here I am, blogging. I now have 2 blogs. This one is going to be about me, and the other one is about my travels (primarily with Adam).

So about me.... My name is Mary Lowe. Most people call me Mary Lowe, instead of just Mary. I have a fantastic boyfriend named Adam. And as of late January 2008, we will be living together in Norman, OK.

And in January I will be looking for a job. So if anyone wants to hire me, I'm pretty amazing and I have a resume. :-)
